FIRST FIA BUGGY RACE TO FINISH 1st IN TWO-WHEEL DRIVE CATEGORY AND 13th IN OVERALL RANKING!
With over 470 km of special stage in 3 days, the Eugenio Amos and Rafael Tornabell duo has emerged unscathed.
Eugenio Amos had never driven a 2wd/Smg Buggy before, and he stepped on the gas for his first test.
Indeed, despite a back injury that struck him during the special stage and obliged him to take some time off the pedal, he finished 8th of the second special stage.
Finally, after getting familiar with the functioning of the vehicle, he made the best of it, now standing 13th on the general ranking.
A highly successful premiere…
We’ll see the duo of Eugenio Amos and Raphael Tornabell again at the OILIBYA rally’s starting point from 1 to 7 October 2016, in Morocco.
